Slow wired connection
Ethernet is connected, but performance is worse than expected.
Wired connections are usually more stable than Wi-Fi, so a bad Ethernet result is a useful clue. It often points to a cable, port, adapter, switch or negotiated speed problem.
Check the link speed before replacing equipment. Many “slow Ethernet” problems are a 100 Mbps connection hiding behind a faster internet plan.
